This very fat dog flew first class on a plane, and everyone is confused

He has a better life than all of us.

ARE YOU COMFORTABLE with having your #goals defined by a dog? Because that’s about to happen.

Twitter user @madeleinedoux witnessed this truly amazing sight at LAX yesterday…

…But that’s not all:

Madeleine’s tweets are going massively viral, and everybody wants to know how a fat dog came to be flying first class. Some feel this dog is just so ‘them’.

But some are calling him an ‘emblem of societal excess’.

Well, his name is Hank (the Tank), and he can explain.

Interior designer Kari Whitman rescued Hank from being put down at a Los Angeles dog shelter – he’s able to detect epileptic seizures, so he travels with her everywhere.

The thing is, Hank can’t walk, so he has to be pulled around in a special, pillow-lined cart. He frequently flies with Whitman, and is an unending source of amusement to airport employees and passengers alike, if her Instagram is anything to go by:

Of course, Hank has an Instagram. So if you want to follow the adventures of an overweight, first class-flying dog, you know where to go.
